🌿 Reawakening the Page: A New Chapter of Healing, Yoga & Mental Health

 Hi friends —

It’s been a while. Almost two years, in fact, since I last posted on this page. When I created it, I had just finished my yoga teacher training in Hawaii, feeling deeply connected to myself, to nature, and to a sense of purpose I hadn’t felt in a long time. This space was born out of a desire to share the practices that helped me come home to myself — movement, breath, mindfulness, presence.

Then life moved quickly. I relocated to Florida and began my Master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling — an intense, transformative journey that demanded my full attention. Over the past few years, I’ve learned more than I ever expected — not just about counseling and theory, but about people, pain, healing, and what it really means to hold space for others. Somewhere along the way, my yoga page grew quiet… but the desire to integrate both of my passions — yoga and mental health — never left me.

And now… I’m back.


🌞 A Rebirth of Purpose

As I close the chapter of grad school and begin a new role at a school as a mental health counselor, I’m feeling an internal nudge to return to this part of me. The part that sees healing as holistic. The part that knows we carry so much in our minds and our bodies. The part that believes in nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, trauma-informed care, and the deep, quiet medicine of movement and breath.

I’m reawakening this page — not just to share yoga flows or calming affirmations, but to create a space that reflects the full spectrum of healing. The beautiful messiness of being human. The intersection between psychology, mindfulness, the nervous system, and ancient embodied wisdom.
